Rock of Ages: The Most Beautiful Ballads

The most beautiful rock ballads will resound in exceptionally beautiful concerts! One of Lithuania's most prominent vocal coaches and performers, Indrė Launikonytė , invites listeners on an extraordinary musical journey with her concert series “Rock of Ages: The Most Beautiful Ballads”. The concerts will take place at St. Catherine's Church in Vilnius on November 11, the VMU Great Hall in Kaunas on December 11, the Alytus City Theatre on December 12, the Marijampolė Culture Centre on December 19, and the Birštonas Culture Centre on December 30. This acoustic evening will feature legendary rock songs reborn in unique arrangements. For many years, Indrė Launikonytė has fascinated audiences not only with her exceptional voice and technical vocal mastery, but also with her ability to convey inner authenticity through music. The performer says that rock music has always been special to her—it is a genre that allows her to reveal the widest range of emotions and vocal colors. “I have always felt that rock music is one of the richest genres in terms of its colors. When singing rock songs, I feel a wider range of my vocal timbre naturally unfolding than in any other style of music. It feels as if the music inside me layers into multiple dimensions, like some kind of matrix—no other style of music makes me feel so deeply. My heart beats to the rhythm of rock,” says the artist. In the concert “Rock of Ages: The Most Beautiful Ballads”, the audience will hear songs by legendary bands and artists such as “Queen”, “Scorpions”, “Roxette”, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, “Nirvana”, AC/DC, and many others, all sounding fresh and new. “The concert will feature the most beautiful classic, glam, pop, and hard rock songs from various eras of rock, performed acoustically. I believe that every listener will take home their favorite song from this evening. I am sure it will be a very genuine and heartfelt evening, because that is what rock music is, and that is who I am,” says Indrė.
