Season Opening: Jam Session

Jam Session – an evening whose script no one knows in advance. Here, music is born on stage – from spontaneous encounters, unexpected musical dialogues, and an immediate connection between musicians and listeners. Everyone who wants to play can step onto the Jam Session stage – who plays with whom and what is not agreed upon in advance. Musicians meet right there, on stage, making each evening unique and unrepeatable. One evening a new piece might be born here, another – a new ensemble, and sometimes simply a musical moment that will never be repeated. Age, experience, or names are not the most important here – the most important thing is the desire to play, listen, and be a part of jazz. At the Jam Session, those united by one reason – the love for jazz – meet. The number of club seats is limited, so the first to arrive will secure a spot in the club. The first Jam Session of the new season will be opened by an ensemble specially formed for this evening, bringing together musicians from three different generations. Different experiences, musical perspectives, and jazz traditions will merge on one stage, becoming an excellent symbol of the new season's beginning. Lithuanian jazz legends will appear on stage: saxophonist Vytautas Labutis and drummer Arkadijus Gotesmanas. Joining them on stage will be a representative of the middle generation and former student of Vytautas Labutis, Karolis Šarkus, along with pianist Richardas Banys and double bassist Aliaksei Kryshtal. And we will also see on stage Karolis Šarkus's own student, Vilnius College student Nojus Dabravalskis. The number of club seats is limited, so the first to arrive will secure a spot in the club. Club entry – 10 EUR (at the door, cash or card), which you can spend at the bar. The Jam Session will start at 20:00. The bar opens at 19:00. Visitors who arrive earlier can choose their preferred seats.
