„Skalvija“ Film Academy student screening series │ Vilnius creators
We invite you to the second screening by students of the „Skalvija“ Film Academy on the theme „Vilnius creators“ . The programme features the first steps in cinema of seven creators who were once students of the „Skalvija“ Film Academy – films united by the courage to experiment with form, sound and themes. These are rebellious, dreaming works reflecting the world through young eyes – the kind we often no longer dare to make later. The films in the programme were selected by former Skalvija Film Academy student and filmmaker Kristina Savickaitė. The screening will take place on 20 July at 8.30 p.m. at the alternative culture space „Utopija“ (T. Kosciuškos g. 1, Vilnius). After the screening there will be a discussion with the creators of the films presented in the programme. The discussion will be moderated by academy students Adelė Gresiūtė and Aurora Degesytė. We invite everyone interested in cinema made by young people! The films will be shown with Lithuanian and English subtitles. The screening is free. PROGRAMME: LAYERS (documentary, dir.
