Žolinė (Assumption Day) is the time to start enjoying the fruits of Mother Earth given to us this year. Why not tie a straw garden on this occasion? Let it spin under the ceiling as a sign of gratitude for the blooming summer meadows, swaying crops, and buzzing bees. On the occasion of Žolinė, we invite you to a **straw garden making workshop** at the House of Histories. Beginners are welcome. We will share knowledge about straw preparation, the intricacies of tying, and each participant will create a small straw garden decorated with a sun motif. We will also take a look around the ethnographic storage-exhibition of the Lithuanian National Museum, where you can see a collection of exceptionally beautiful straw gardens. **Who is it for?** The workshop is open to adults and families with children aged 12 and over.
