Sounding Tibet | Culture Night 2026

ON CULTURE NIGHT, Tibet Square in Užupis will resound not only with the sounds of gongs, but also with classical Indian and electronic music, as well as original songs by well-known performers. Let us meet in the heart of Užupis, where music becomes community. 18:00 The programme will open with gong master Raimondas Binkauskas , whose music creates a sonic space that touches the inner world of each person. According to him, the sounds of gongs and Tibetan bowls bring world peace closer, directly or indirectly — and that is one of the reasons he has been playing these instruments for many years. 19:00 Tibet Square will be flooded with the melodic and rich sounds of Indian classical music by Adomas Šimkūnas, Dmitrij Šilov and Vytenė Kęstutytė (Heja Skylight) . During the performance, listeners will hear classical ragas performed by a bansuri flute and pakhawaj percussion duo, accompanied by the stringed drone instrument — the tanpura. The performance will continue with soothing electronic music created by Heja Skylight, blending with improvisational singing. According to the artist, her music is a space for deep listening and a quest to find inner peace. 20:30 The distinctive and heartfelt compositions of Darius Žvirblis will invite everyone to gather together — his voice is likely recognised by many from the legendary band "Atika". We will listen to poetic songs that invite us to pause and truly listen. 21:30 Domantas Razauskas will immerse the audience in a subtle and unforgettable poetic journey. 22:30 The charismatic friend Zala will shake Tibet Square. Andrius Zalieska-Zala, who has been engaging with Tibet support initiatives through his songs and witty conversations for several years now, will bring the audience joy and long-lasting smiles. Come and rest from the noise. Let the sound touch you.
