Jazz and swing classics come alive anew with vocalist and trumpeter George Trubnikov, leader of the "Special Delivery Band". Regular participants of jazz dance festivals, they promise an evening filled with rich American musical tradition and bold improvisations that will captivate and uplift you. This concert is a tribute to the classics, where authentic jazz sounds intertwine with new energy and passion for the genre. The quartet's leader, vocalist and trumpeter George Trubnikov, is a musician, swing dance instructor, and participant in numerous European and Lithuanian jazz festivals. "My journey as a passionate vocalist and trumpeter began in 2008 with swing dancing, which ignited my love for jazz. Inspired by the rich traditions of African-American culture, I dedicated myself to spreading the thrilling melodies of improvisational jazz, blues, and soul to music lovers. Traveling for many years to European dance festivals and concerts, I pour my heart and energy into every performance. Join me in celebrating the music that moves us all!" – invites G. Trubnikov.
