Specialty Coffee Tasting in a 19th-Century Water Mill

At the tasting, an inspiring journey into the world of coffee awaits you – from its origins to a perfectly brewed cup. – The tasting is led by a professional barista. – During the event, you will learn about the history of coffee and professional tasting principles that allow you to identify the flavors, aromas, and origins of coffee beans. We will prepare coffees using different tools: Chemex, V60, AeroPress, and French press. – You will taste carefully selected coffees from various regions of the world, which have won awards at the prestigious Global Coffee Awards. Together, we will analyze the character, texture, and flavor profile of each region. – After the tasting, you will leave having discovered a wider palette of flavors, and most importantly, having clearly felt what coffee you truly love. – You will taste specialty coffee from handmade stoneware cups made in Portugal. – A sweet surprise awaits you at the end of the tasting. The event takes place in an early 19th-century water mill belonging to the Verkių Rūmai ensemble, designed by Laurynas Stuoka-Gucevičius. The sound of a roaring waterfall nearby will accompany you throughout the tasting.
