VU Culture Centre invites you to tell and listen to live stories and meet new people at the STORYTELLING SALON! Organized since 2018, the VU storytelling evening is open to everyone and will take place on Tuesday, October 27, at 7 PM at the VU Small Aula Cafe, Universiteto St. 3. This time, the theme will be " POWER " – stories about power and powerlessness, about empowering oneself and others, and about those who help us feel powerful. The Salon will be held IN ENGLISH! The event is hosted by storyteller Milda Varnauskaitė aka @Storyteller Milda As always, the salon is open to your stories, so if you want not only to listen but also to tell, please register by email: storytellingvu@gmail.com To know how many chairs and teacups to prepare, registration is required for all participants – listeners and storytellers! REGISTRATION: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/ru49Z67gLz IMPORTANT: Due to planned roof repair works at St. Johns' Church, part of the VU Grand Courtyard will be fenced off, and entry through the gates from Pilies St. will not be possible. You can reach the event venue through the Philology Gates, located next to the parking lot (from the Universiteto Street side). Through these gates, you will enter the M. K. Sarbievijus Courtyard; beyond the fountain, there are stairs leading up to the VU Grand Courtyard. The VU Small Aula Cafe will be directly in front of you after crossing the courtyard. The event is free of charge. The event may be photographed and filmed. By participating, you agree that the material may be used for VU publicity purposes. We regret to inform you that the event will take place in the historical premises of Vilnius University, which have limited physical accessibility for people with mobility disabilities. Remote streaming of the event is not planned. The event is organized by the VU Culture Centre, which brings together 16 art collectives and creative studios.
