Striksintis laikas (directed by Balys Ivanauskas and Artūras Dubaka) – is about people, encounters, and death. This theatrical event is a mosaic crafted from poems by Gintaras Grajauskas, Enrika Sriogaitė, Daiva Čepauskaitė, and other poets, live music, and dance interludes. Here, poems transform into actors' personal stories, glimpses into fragments and nuances of our own lives: everyday routines, gentle solitude, acerbity, fragility, childishness, philosophical contemplation, and humor, humor, humor. There will certainly be no shortage of it. The language of poetry on stage allows for expressing thoughts in a highly concentrated, refined, and concise manner. Nothing here is superfluous. Contemporary poetry, close to everyday language, merges with the actors' narrated stories to form a cohesive work where the audience sees no clear distinction between stories and poems. This method of poetry reading attracts viewers who are not usually interested in poetry and breaks the stereotypical image of a poetry evening. The program features a lot of comedy, satire, and a personal connection with the audience.
