Sutartinės Singing Circle with Brigita and Ugnė

Hi! 🌞We invite you to a sutartinės (traditional Lithuanian polyphonic songs) singing circle! A cozy, meaningful and playful evening awaits you, filled with the songs of our ancestors. 🧡 Before we start singing sutartinės, singing teacher Ugnė will warm up your voices. The warm-up will help your voice sound freer and with more confidence. 😊We very often hear people say they're afraid to come and sing because they don't know how. We can confidently dispel that thought, and we keep repeating that EVERYONE can sing. We create a space where it is safe to be with your voice exactly as it is in this moment. Gently and patiently, we show you how to move from "I can't sing" to "Oh, I actually CAN sing." Everyone can. It just takes patience and practice. So, drawing on the legacy of our ancestors – sutartinės – we sincerely invite you to join us and ALLOW yourself to experience yourself through song and togetherness. Sutartinės help develop mindfulness and help the mind and body relax and experience the present moment. 🌞JOIN US! We warmly await everyone.
