Teatras P – Concert!

"Until now, music has been a delicious spice for poetic happenings. We've taken those spices from all poetic happenings and combined them into a new dish – our concert!" On May 28 at 6 PM, actors Artūras Dubaka and Balys Ivanauskas invite you to a concert at Lojoteka, featuring songs collected, matured, and loved for over a decade. "Teatras P" is a troupe of professional artists that took its first steps in 2010, creating poetic happenings for children and youth, where Lithuanian poetry intertwines with autobiographical stories of the actors and live music. Performances are usually shown in unconventional spaces: libraries, assembly halls, courtyards, galleries, where this genre (poetic happening) best reveals itself. The mission is to bring poetry to those who don't read it. The performances are characterized by playfulness, humor, and an authentic connection with the audience. About the creators: Balys Ivanauskas – actor, director, actively working in several Lithuanian theaters (Stalo teatras, Juozo Miltinio dramos teatras, Kauno miesto kamerinis teatras, etc.). Several performances have been nominated for Golden Stage Crosses. The creator also engages in pedagogical activities – teaching stage speech to visual theater students. Co-founder of "Teatras P". Artūras Dubaka – actor, composer, songwriter, and performer, who has won several awards for his work. In addition to working in theater, he is also a member of the "Clown Doctors" organization.
