THE LEGEND OF THE AESTI || Puppet and object show for children

Author Audronė Ilgevičienė-Astrėja is the author of more than 35 books, the pioneer of Anthroposophy, and the founder of Lithuania's first astromineralogy centre "Pars Fortunae". Her field of research is the psychic, mental and spiritual alchemy of the human being. The author intuitively and empirically explores the properties of minerals, visits energetically powerful and sacred places around the world, and conducts historical research and expeditions into the Aesti people. "The story 'The Legend of the Aesti' is a tale of the Great Aesti Journey. About how, 10,000 years ago, the Aesti people rose from the ancient mouth of the Nile to travel to their Promised Land on the shores of what is now the Baltic Sea." – A. Ilgevičienė-Astrėja The show was created so that the book could take on a living form. The legend is characterised by vivid, lively language, and the stage aims to convey at least a part of what is written within it. Both the book and the performance speak of a theme that is infinitely relevant to all of us – the divine roots of our nation. How did our ancestors live? What challenges did they overcome? What secrets did they discover on their journey to their Promised Land by the Baltic? This is a journey that leads not only through history, but also into our own interior – to the origins, to the very beginning. Everyone is welcome to the show – children aged 6 and up, together with parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters and friends.
