THE WEDDING BALL – Major Ballroom Event in Vilnius. The Wedding Ball is an international Major Ballroom event bringing together the Ballroom community and guests from Lithuania and abroad for a special celebration in Vilnius on November 14th. Ballroom is a culture that took shape within LGBTQ+ communities in New York, bringing together fashion, performance, Vogue, music, self-expression and competition. At a Ball, participants walk different categories – from Vogue Performance and Runway to Fashion, Face, Realness and more – competing in front of a panel of judges. This Ball is also deeply personal. The Wedding Ball was created as a celebration of our partnership, queer love and the freedom to love. Same-sex couples still cannot legally marry in Lithuania, so this night is not only a celebration, but also our way of being visible and reminding everyone that love deserves equal freedom. Expect international guests, Ballroom categories, music, fashion, performances and a night created together with our community.
