Thumbelina || A Puppet Show for Children

The tale of a miniature girl who endures giant trials seems tailor-made for puppet theaters, which they successfully do. However, the Vilnius LĖLĖ Theatre's “Thumbelina” is also a poetic reflection on the wide world – what it is like, revealed for the first time before the eyes of a small, pure, and kind person. Who is that person? Perhaps it's Thumbelina, or perhaps it's you, who hasn't yet encountered many joys and sorrows in life, but has experienced them with all your heart. But one must believe that for you, just like for little Thumbelina, after all the trials, the wide world of people, flowers, and birds will be merciful and shine with all the colors of the rainbow!
