TOUT / RIEN | Modo Grosso (Belgium)

How can we make people see time – feel it, reveal it in its bare form; time that flows – give it shape and capture it in the very moment of its movement?

TOUT /RIEN (meaning „Everything / Nothing“) is a challenge Alexis Rouvre set for himself in his „circus of objects.“ Instead of using gravity, he juggles with time, drawing inspiration from astrophysicist Carlo Rovelli: „Bodies naturally move where time flows slower.“

The alchemist of temporality uses simple objects – knits, chains, stones. Creating an intense poetic work, he reveals another side of the fleeting moment – a moment that lasts no time at all, yet retains the essence of everything.
