"People, Crocodiles, Rabbits" – a concert and poetic performance for children.
Actors Balys Ivanauskas and Artūras Dubaka, drawing on children's poems by Lithuanian writers Marius Marcinkevičius and Sigitas Geda, have created a concert-performance full of fun songs, games, and interesting stories.
Theatre critic Sigita Ivaškaitė writes about this performance: "Not being an enthusiast of poetry performances, I was pleasantly surprised by the performers' sincerity on stage, their professionalism in fulfilling the musical tasks they set for themselves, and their captivating simplicity, which manifests both in adequate communication with children and in the conscious use of imagination as scenography. Somewhere between quick, and at first glance simple solutions, Balys Ivanauskas and Artūras Dubaka find a communion between theatrical illusion and poetic text, sometimes hiding a multitude of variations we create (or co-create) behind a single word or a gesture."
