Vilnius Carillon — Melodies of Love

On April 6, 2026, the Vilnius Carillon in the bell tower of the Dominican Church (St. Philip and St. James) will play thematic melodies about love every hour. From 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, short musical motifs will accompany the city clock's chimes, creating Vilnius' daily sonic rhythm – subtle, yet constantly returning. The project “With Love Every Hour” was created by Jurgis Pauliukas, head and artist of the Vilnius Carillon Festival, together with Japanese carillonist Toru Takao. Each hour has its own name and mood – from gratitude for the morning to peace in the evening, from personal relationships to urban and sacred motifs.
