Vilnius District Harvest Festival

The Harvest Festival will begin at 1 PM with Holy Mass for farmers and a bountiful year at the Church of the Conversion of St. Paul in Vaidotai. Following the Mass, a festive procession of elderships and guests, accompanied by an orchestra, will move towards the Baltosios Vokės Manor, where the main festival program will begin at 2:45 PM. One of the most important highlights of the event is a tribute to the district's farmers. Around 4:00 PM, the best farmers from Vilnius District's elderships will be honored, whose work and efforts contribute to the vitality of our region, the preservation of local traditions, and the fostering of a strong community. Throughout the day, visitors can explore 23 courtyards of Vilnius District's elderships, where they can get acquainted with the traditions and culinary heritage of different localities, and taste local products. Various educational activities will take place during the event, and communities, organizations, and institutions operating in Vilnius District will also present their activities. Vilnius District art collectives and guests will perform on stage: Gabriel Jan Mincewicz's representative Polish song and dance ensemble „Wileńszczyzna“; Song and dance ensemble „Rudomianka“; Folk dance group „Perła“; Song and dance ensemble Hyżniacy (Poland); Kapela „Suderwianie“; Men's ensemble „Vinis“ (Telšiai district). In the evening program of the festival, visitors can look forward to exclusive concerts. At 7 PM, one of Lithuania's most famous bands, „The Roop“, will take the stage, and later, guests from Poland – the band „Sławomir“, led by Sławek Zapała – will delight the audience with an energetic performance. The concert program around 9:10 PM will be crowned by a spectacular laser show.
