Vilnius Ghetto Pavement: A Guided Discovery Tour at Your Convenience

The tour takes place anytime - you can choose the time yourself!!! Tour video: This discovery tour is unlike a regular excursion – you will have to find the visited places yourself, receiving various clues and developing your orientation skills. Longer texts will be sent in audio format, so you won't get tired of reading. The tour is exclusively for you; strangers will not be joined to your company. Many of you probably know where the ghetto theatre was, but have you heard where the tailor shop was that repaired and washed bloody, bullet-ridden Wehrmacht uniforms? Or where the ghetto chief lived; where the world-renowned artist Samuel Bak, a Holocaust survivor, hid? We will show you where the orphanage and the ghetto hospital were, where ghetto doctors saved survivors after the mass shootings in Paneriai, and you will even be able to see the authentic interior of the hospital. Or perhaps you've heard that the ghetto also had its own restaurant, pawnshop, and even a brothel? Everything will be explained consistently and understandably, detailing how the ghetto mechanism worked, why certain institutions were established, visiting both main and lesser-known ghetto sites, and recounting the stories of Jewish fate. Route length – 2-2.5 km. Duration – 2-2.5 hours. Requirements – a smartphone and internet access. The route is prepared based on the diaries of I. Rudashevski, H. Kruk, G. Shur, as well as other sources. Number of participants: 1-4 persons (if a larger group wishes to participate – each person over 7 years old must purchase an additional person's ticket) www.trainbrain.lt
