VILNIUS - CITY OF SINS: A tour with spicy details. Summer is already halfway through! It's time to discover a completely different side of Vilnius and have a fun Friday evening. On Friday, July 10 at 7:00 PM, an unusual tour will take place. Together, we will stroll through the most entertaining and spicy corners of our city, finding out where the Vilnius proletariat, bohemians, and aristocracy used to spend their time, and how men and women used to meet. Among other things, I will tell you: about the strangest and most memorable Vilnius couple who lived in our city; which of the first women challenged society and started wearing trousers; where the Red Light District was in Vilnius, and who the Vilnius 'night butterflies' and their clients were; how and where Vilnius residents had fun during the Tsarist Empire, as part of the Republic of Poland, and during the Soviet era (with plenty of anecdotes from those times); which nightclub managed to sell a record amount of real champagne and became the most famous spot in Lithuania. Of course, I will also share my personal recommendations for the most unusual and interesting places in Vilnius today. This will be the practical part of the tour, after which you can continue exploring modern, spicy Vilnius on your own.
