Vox organi Cathedralis 2026. INDRĖ GERIKAITĖ

"Vox organi Cathedralis" — an organ music festival held at Vilnius Cathedral Basilica since 2017. Marking its tenth anniversary, the cathedral organ resonates with voices of European cathedral organs, June 14 – September 20: dedications to cathedrals of Austria, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Latvia, France and Germany. 3 September 2026 at 12:00 Dedication to the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Brno Organ: INDRĖ GERIKAITĖ Programme: František Musil, Bedřich Antonín Wiedermann. ***** Indrė Gerikaitė began her organ studies at the M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, continued at the Vilnius Conservatory, and earned a master's degree from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2007. She participated in masterclasses by professors L. Lohmann, G. Bovet and others. She won the III prize at the J. Naujalis Young Organists' Competition (2004), II prize and a special prize from the Latvian Guild of Organists at the II Jonas Žukas Competition (2008), and II prize at the III Jonas Žukas Competition (2010). She has served at the Church of St. Ignatius (2005–2015), St. Joseph's Parish in Pilaitė (2015–2020), and since 2020 at the Church of St. Theresa (Gate of Dawn), Vilnius. She has performed in Lithuania, Belgium, Spain and Germany, and since 2017 is a member of the National Organists' Association.
