House of the Gaon

Museum on Žydų Street housed in the original residence of the renowned Vilna Gaon, Rabbi Elijah ben Solomon Zalman, who lived here in the early 19th century. Exhibits cover his life, scholarship and the legacy of the Jewish community of Vilnius.
