Art Studio of Jonas Bugailiškis - Melodious World of Wood (lithuanian folk artist workshop)
Jonas Bugailiškis' art studio is located in Vilnius Old Town near the Gate of Dawn, where the folk artist has been carving wood for more than three decades. He has made over 1,000 kanklės, traditional Lithuanian zithers, and also carves traditional crosses, rūpintojėliai figures and angels following old Lithuanian folk art traditions, with his works held by the Lithuanian National Museum and collections abroad, including the Balzekas Museum in the USA. It is advisable to contact the studio in advance to arrange a visit.
