Vilnius Restaurants 2026: Where to Eat by Time and Budget

By VisitVilnius.lt editorial team6 min read

Where to dine in Vilnius in 2026 according to time and budget: Michelin-starred restaurants, Lithuanian cuisine, prices and reservation tips.

In Vilnius, dinner is easiest to spoil not by choosing a bad restaurant, but by choosing the wrong format. A tasting dinner doesn't fit between a museum and a show, and looking for a free table in the Old Town late on a Friday means eating wherever there's space left. Therefore, first decide how much time you will dedicate to food, how much you want to pay, and whether dinner will be the main event of the evening. Prices and operating conditions below were checked on 4 October 2026. They describe the cited menus, not guaranteed prices or availability for a future booking. Michelin distinctions refer to the 2026 selection. Michelin 2026 selection.

When dinner is the entire evening plan

Nineteen18, Dominikonų g. 11, has one Michelin star in 2026. Its operator lists Wednesday-Saturday dinner service, a tasting menu at EUR115, Discovery wine pairing at EUR80 and non-alcoholic pairing at EUR40 per person. Food plus Discovery pairing totals EUR195 before extras. Allow approximately 2.5-3 hours. Regular tables are booked online; groups over six should contact the restaurant. Guests must be at least 14. Ask about dietary requirements before booking: a vegan or milk-protein-free menu and multiple allergies cannot be accommodated under the published policy. See menu and booking conditions.

Demo, T. Ševčenkos g. 16A, has one Michelin star in the 2026 selection. Treat a tasting dinner as the main evening activity, not a quick stop between attractions. The cafe and evening restaurant are different formats: cafe opening hours do not establish dinner availability. Check the operator website for the current dinner format, total price, beverage options and available dates before booking. Older seasonal PDFs are not a guarantee of today's menu, and we do not treat the EUR55 beverage option as confirmed non-alcoholic pairing.

Gaspar's, Pylimo g. 23-3, offers both an à la carte meal and a six-course tasting. The tasting conditions requires at least 24 hours' advance booking and allows 3-3.5 hours, with tasting starts from 17:00 to 20:15 Tuesday-Saturday. Saturday à la carte service starts at 13:00; that does not mean the tasting starts at lunchtime. The published two-person tasting voucher costs EUR190 for two guests, equivalent to EUR95 each as a voucher calculation, not confirmation of every direct reservation price. Confirm the current total and dietary requirements with the restaurant.

Two hours, one serious dinner

Džiaugsmas, Vilniaus g. 28, retains one Michelin star in 2026. For a shorter dinner, check whether the available à la carte format suits your schedule rather than assuming a tasting will fit into two hours. The earlier summer price ranges and EUR120 tasting estimate are not presented here as verified current prices. Use restaurant reservations to check the menu, service dates, dietary needs and available tables. A week of advance notice is not an availability guarantee.

14Horses, Dominikonų g. 11, is another option in Senatorių Pasažas and retains its Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction in 2026. See the Michelin listing and restaurant contact for its recorded address and contact information. Confirm the current menu, price, opening hours and booking arrangements directly; this guide does not promise a EUR55 four-course dinner or acceptance of walk-ins. The website linked by Michelin currently opens an unrelated recipe blog, so we do not recommend it as a restaurant booking channel.

For those who want to compare stars, Bib Gourmand places, and new 2026 entries, a separate guide to Michelin restaurants in Vilnius will be useful.

The taste of Lithuania without just cepelinai

Ertlio namas, Šv. Jono g. 7, interprets Lithuania's culinary history. The seasonal menu and duration, checked on 4 October, lists seven parts at EUR60 per person with approximately two hours for dinner, or nine parts at EUR70 with approximately three hours. Wine accompaniment is EUR30 for the shorter menu and EUR40 for the longer one. These seasonal menus are listed for 2 September-2 December 2026; the operator lists a 10% service charge for groups of eight or more. Reserve ahead and discuss allergies. Do not assume dishes in older photographs remain on the menu.

„Lokys“, Stiklių St. 8, is suitable when you want to order one specific dish. The restaurant operates daily from 12 PM to 12 AM, so it also helps on Mondays when some of Vilnius's more ambitious kitchens are closed. In the current menu, game cepelinai cost 17 Eur, beaver stew 25 Eur, wild boar or venison steak 27 Eur, a set of several types of game 39 Eur. For an appetizer, venison pâté costs 14 Eur. For two dishes without drinks, plan about 31 to 53 Eur per person. current menu and hours (2026-10-04).

Monday and last minute

„Nineteen18“ is closed that day, „14Horses“ is also closed, and „Gaspar's“ starts the week on Tuesday. If you cannot change the date, check places that operate daily and don't go to a restaurant based solely on an old opening hours photo in a search. „Lokys“ is a specific daily option in the Old Town, and for a wider selection, use the list of Vilnius restaurants with filters. Nineteen18 / Gaspar's / 14Horses (2026-10-04).

For a last-minute meal, check actual service hours and ask whether a table is available before travelling. Earlier sittings or lunch may widen your options, but neither guarantees a seat and some tasting restaurants serve only dinner. If rain is forecast, confirm that the reservation is indoors rather than terrace-only.

How much the evening will actually cost

Build the budget from a specific menu rather than a blanket city-wide price range. In the menus checked on 4 October, Lokys lists game cepelinai at EUR17 and venison pâté at EUR14: those two choices total EUR31 before drinks. Ertlio namas lists EUR60 or EUR70 for food alone; adding the corresponding wine accompaniment brings the totals to EUR90 or EUR110. Nineteen18 food with Discovery pairing totals EUR195. These are menu calculations, not promised final bills: add extras and any applicable service charge.

Always check prices on the day of reservation. Seasonal menus change, drinks are usually not included, and water, coffee, and additional dishes can noticeably increase the bill. If the budget is strict, before reserving, calculate not only the menu but also the service charge, drinks, and a taxi after a late dinner.

Reservation without unpleasant surprises

Start with the restaurant's actual reservation calendar as soon as your dates are known. There is no universal two- or three-week booking rule. Nineteen18 says it releases reservations daily at 10:00 for the next two months; Gaspar's tasting requires at least 24 hours' notice. Use the linked operator conditions, confirm the duration of the format you choose, and tell the restaurant your departure deadline if you have a show or train afterwards.

In your reservation, specify allergies, vegetarian preferences, children's ages, and the exact number of guests. It's not enough to mention an allergy upon arrival, as the base for the tasting menu is prepared in advance. Also, read the cancellation policy: some places require a deposit or charge a no-show fee. If you are more than 15 minutes late, call. In a small restaurant, a delayed table can disrupt the entire flow of dishes.
