LIŪDNI SLIBINAI "Dar kartą" | Vilnius (Extra Show)

Ticket sales start on February 22. After an eight-year hiatus from their joint musical journey, "Liūdni slibinai" are announcing the end of their vacation. This autumn, the band will hold concerts in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, and Panevėžys, where they will once again reflect on the melancholy nature of life. "We’ve rested, we’ve lived, we’ve met those who haven't forgotten us yet, and we felt that it would be too sad if we didn't meet one more time. We heard that arenas are all fully booked these days, and the only stadiums left are at schools, so we decided to meet in more intimate spaces where we can look into people's eyes and feel their hearts," says Vaidas Kublinskas, once considered the brains behind "Liūdni slibinai." The acoustic program, titled "Liūdni slibinai. Dar kartą," will feature the theatrical band's well-known songs set to the words of Lithuanian poets, as well as the existential creations of Vaidas Kublinskas, Dominykas Vaitiekūnas, and Aistė Lasytė from their final album, "Viskas netrukus baigsis." During their nine years together, "Liūdni slibinai" released four studio albums and performed several hundred concerts in various Lithuanian cities and abroad—including London, Hamburg, Oxford, Los Angeles, Chicago, Rochester, and New York. Known for their self-deprecating irony, the band has received the Saulius Mykolaitis Award and was nominated for three consecutive years at the Lithuanian Music Awards M.A.M.A., winning the Band of the Year title in 2012. "Liūdni slibinai" also won the T.Ė.T.Ė. alternative music awards in the 2011 "People's Choice" category, and in 2012, band member Dominykas Vaitiekūnas was named "Charisma of the Year" at the same awards.
