The program will reveal various facets of the composer's work – from chamber intimacy and lyrical tenderness to dramatic emotional peaks. Two exceptional artists will meet on stage – internationally acclaimed violinist Boris Brovtsyn and one of Lithuania's most prominent pianists, Petras Geniušas. Their musical dialogue promises to unveil the depth and beauty of Schubert's work, offering listeners an unforgettable chamber music experience. Boris Brovtsyn – biography Boris Brovtsyn is one of the most distinguished violinists of his generation, performing on prestigious stages worldwide. Born in Moscow, he began his music studies in early childhood, later studying at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His career is marked by a broad concert repertoire and active involvement in chamber music. Boris has performed with renowned European and global orchestras, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, and other ensembles. The artist is regularly invited to international festivals and collaborates with the most famous chamber music performers. Brovtsyn's interpretations are valued for their emotionality, musical maturity, and exceptional beauty of sound. In addition to his active concert career, he conducts masterclasses in various countries worldwide and nurtures the younger generation of musicians. Petras Geniušas – biography Petras Geniušas is one of Lithuania's most renowned pianists, celebrated for his creativity, improvisational freedom, and exceptionally broad repertoire. A graduate of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, he gained international recognition in his youth, becoming a laureate in several prestigious piano competitions. Throughout his career, he has performed in many countries across Europe, Asia, and America, appearing with prominent symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles. The pianist is actively interested not only in classical music but also in jazz, contemporary improvisation forms, and interdisciplinary artistic projects. Audiences and critics appreciate his ability to transform each piece into a living narrative, full of unexpected interpretative solutions.
