Tour 'Stories of the Vilnius Bastion'

We invite you to visit the Bastion of the Vilnius Defensive Wall and join the tour "Stories of the Vilnius Bastion" in English. The museum is located in an authentic part of the Vilnius defensive wall – the bastion. Both the Vilnius defensive wall and the bastion can tell many stories – after all, the defensive wall was built by the citizens themselves. Then, more than 500 years ago, the people of Vilnius united for a common goal – to protect their beloved city and their homes. Today, the bastion also tells a story about the importance of a person ready to defend their land and loved ones. This is evidenced by the history of the bastion itself, and the permanent exhibition "From Flint to Gunpowder", presenting the evolution of weapons over the centuries: how they changed, how their manufacturing technology improved.
