Vilnius Whispers: A Twilight Tour for Families

This will be a joy for children, an unusual experience for parents, and a curious sight for passers-by: inquisitive explorers delving into Old Town courtyards, secret passages, and city nooks, even lighting candles at the end! We will visit places that require effort to discover even during the day, and in the evening, everything looks even more mysterious and special. We will get to know the city after dark, listen to its sounds, and learn how streets and houses were lit in ancient times, as well as what dangers awaited citizens in the darkness. We will tell you whether all residents could safely stay at home after dark, or if there were some who had to spend the night hours in the city. You will hear stories that Vilnius residents have long told their children on dark winter evenings, and you will see for yourself that after sunset, Vilnius becomes a little different. For the tour, please bring a flashlight or a phone that lights up. And at the end, we will provide the candles! 👉 Tour start: by the Gate of Dawn, from the street side ✅ Duration ~ 1.5 hours ⭕ Tour end: Vokiečių St. Please do not be late and have a copy of your ticket saved on your phone. The guide's phone will be switched off during the tour, so if you are late, your options to join will be quite limited. ☔ What if the weather is bad? The tour will definitely take place, and we simply suggest you bring umbrellas and dress appropriately. 🐝 A ticket is required for both children and and adults.
