Vox organi Cathedralis 2026. LAURA GEDGAUDAITE-DOMARKIENE
"Vox organi Cathedralis" (lit. "The Voice of the Cathedral Organ") is an organ music festival held at Vilnius Archcathedral Basilica since 2017. Celebrating the festival's tenth anniversary, this year the organs of Vilnius Archcathedral will speak with the voices of cathedral organs from across Europe. From 14 June to 20 September, musical dedications will resonate to cathedrals in Austria, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Latvia, France and Germany. 16 July 2026 at 12:00 Dedication to the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris Organist: LAURA GEDGAUDAITE-DOMARKIENE Programme: Louis Vierne, Leonce de Saint-Martin, Olivier Latry. ***** Laura Gedgaudaite-Domarkiene is an organist, music educator and choir director at the Church of Mary Queen of Peace in Klaipeda. From 2008 she studied at the Academy of Arts of Klaipeda University, completing a Bachelor's degree in solo singing and a Master's in music pedagogy in 2014. From 2013 to 2014, under the Erasmus programme, she studied in Germany at the University of Greifswald (organ class of doc. J. Gebhardt). She has performed in Germany, Latvia, Austria and Italy. She has been a member of the National Organists' Association since 2018.
