Art Center of Baltic Amber
The Art Center of Baltic Amber is a specialised gallery and shop in Vilnius Old Town dedicated to Baltic amber as an artistic and cultural treasure. Located on Šv. Mykolo Street, it offers a wide collection of amber goods – from traditional jewellery to contemporary design pieces and unique artworks. Baltic amber is a symbol of Lithuania's natural and cultural heritage. At this centre you can not only purchase high-quality amber pieces but also learn about amber's origins, properties and its place in Baltic culture. Rare amber specimens with trapped insects (inclusions) up to 50 million years old can be seen on display. The centre is open Monday to Friday and is close to Vilnius University and Castle Street . An ideal place to find an authentic Lithuanian amber souvenir or jewellery piece. The gallery includes an educational display open to visitors.
