The NESSUN DORMA Night Concert Marathon invites audiences to an uplifting evening, “Life Is Beautiful,” featuring two of Lithuania’s most distinctive jazz artists – vocalist Veronika ChiChi and pianist Dmitrij Golovanov.
This is a duo united not only by music but also by life. Their musical partnership is built on professionalism, subtlety, elegance, and creative freedom. Each performance becomes a living conversation where voice and piano, improvisation and emotion, jazz tradition and personal artistic expression merge into one.
The programme “Life Is Beautiful” brings together original songs in Lithuanian and jazz standards celebrating the beauty of life, small everyday joys, and luminous emotions. The evening will also feature music from the duo’s recent programme “neYra” – a distinctive take on Lithuanian folk songs and musical heritage.
Veronika ChiChi is one of Lithuania’s foremost jazz vocalists, admired for her distinctive voice, artistry, and stage charisma. Her latest album “Namai” (Home) has been warmly received by audiences and critics alike.
Dmitrij Golovanov is widely regarded as one of Lithuania’s most accomplished jazz pianists, composers, and improvisers. He currently serves as President of the Lithuanian Jazz Federation.
Following the concert, audiences are invited to stay for the media opera “ČĪURLIONIS: I SEE MUSIC.”
