YEHEUN JU (organ, South Korea) How to travel to a distant, exotic country without leaving Vilnius? Come to St. Casimir's Church. How to feel the spirit of that country? Through music. Organist Yeheun Ju will bring it all the way from South Korea. A special part of the artist's biography is her long-term activity in Germany – she worked as an organist in several churches in Pulheim and Düsseldorf, performed at Cologne Cathedral – one of Europe's most important sacred music venues – as well as in numerous organ music festivals and concert halls. After returning to her homeland, she taught at Yonsei University and Ewha Womans University, and is currently a professor at Chongshin University in Seoul, combining both pedagogical and concert activities. For her performance in Vilnius, she has prepared a program of subtle, colorful sounds, combining different cultures, eras, and inner states. Free admission
