This summer, an exceptional event graces Vilnius's concert calendar. Taking the LVSO stage will be the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra from the United States — and it will be the only free symphonic music concert in Vilnius this summer.

Coming to Lithuania is the New Jersey Youth Symphony — one of the most accomplished and prestigious youth orchestras in the US, uniting the most talented young musicians from across the New Jersey region. The ensemble has performed on the world's most renowned stages — from Carnegie Hall in New York to the legendary Musikverein in Vienna — and has earned top honours at international festivals for artistic excellence.
The orchestra is led by internationally acclaimed conductor Helen H. Cha-Pyo — one of the most prominent figures in the US youth orchestra world. Ensembles under her direction have performed across Europe, Asia, and North America, and she is celebrated for her ability to make classical music vivid, engaging, and accessible to diverse audiences.
The evening programme will feature classical symphonic masterworks and contemporary pieces, showcasing the young musicians' professionalism, energy, and love of music. This is a rare opportunity to hear a top-tier American youth orchestra for free in one of Lithuania's finest concert venues.
Entry is free, but a seat reservation is required by obtaining a free ticket through the Bilietai.lt system. Seats are numbered, so the earlier you reserve, the better your choice of seats.
